Best car rental experience ever! We have rented cars in several parts of Australia, but none of them were as good as Tropical North. This company goes out of its way to keep things simple and affordable and to ensure the clients feel trusted and in good hands. Angelique went out of her way to pick us up and drop us back to our hotel at the end of our stay. The car itself was fantastic and the price was better than any other company by far. I highly recommend this company to all travellers in this beautiful part of Australia!

Myself and my partner cannot thank Angelique enough, not only was she so kind and nice but was informative with all the right places to go! We rented the vehicle for 3 days and had an absolute blast! We have been hiring cars in Port Douglas for years but after using Tropical North Car rentals, we will not use any others. The staff are wonderfull and easy to deal with. Insurance is included in the daily rate and no bond is taken up front. Great door to door service. All round great service. Will be back next year.
I travel a lot and renting cars is a part of the package for me. These guys are by far the easiest, most friendly and best priced car rental company I've ever come across. I never thought I'd leave a review for a car rental company but this crew are worth it.
The car was great and the price was the best in town. The only problem I had was getting someone to answer my calls. They are a little out of town and a wonderful lady picked me up, so friendly and welcoming. I when I returned the car I got a shuttle bus back into town. The office shuts at 4 so for a return ride you need the car back at 3.30. I hired last minute as well and the staff were very obliging. If your wanting a car from port Douglas, I would highly recommend these guys.
